This is a short poem from The Book of Embraces
The System/1
The functioning officials don't function
The politicians speak but they don't say anything.
The voters vote but they don't choose.
The media and information misinform.
The teaching centers teach to ignore.
The judges condemn the victims.
The military is at war with its own compatriots.
The police don't combat crimes, because they're occupied committing them.
The bankruptcies become socialized, the earnings become privatized.
Money is more free than people.
People are at the service of the things.
