A new government developed neighborhood provides the town of Moreno with a repetitive mix of white houses lined side by side. The housing project provides shelter and resources for families living in poor and precarious zones on the outskirts of the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires. The NGO FOVISEE has also helped by installing renewable energy thermal solar panels to allow for hot water for those living in the community as part of an overall goal toward making La Perla an energy sustainable neighborhood. Project 100 as it is called has also received financial help from several other private businesses. Right now 67 homes in the neighborhood have renewable energy in order to heat their water but the goal is to have 100.
Un barrio nuevo desarrollado por el gobierno de Argentina brinda el pueblo de Moreno con cuadras repetitivas de casas blancas ubicadas una al lado de otra. El proyecto de viviendas provee alojamiento y recursos para casi 100 familias que antes vivían en zonas precarias en las afueras de la Capital Federal. El ONG FOVISEE también ha contribuido al barrio La Perla por instalar paneles solares térmicos para ofrecer el agua caliente a los habitantes de la comunidad. El Projecto 100 como se llama también ha recibido apoyo financiaro de muchos otros negocios privados. Ahora 67 casas del barrio tienen energía renovable para calentar su agua pero la meta es tener 100.
